Celebrating 25 Years of Helping Others
Join us on September 23rd for our Anniversary Celebration
Housatonic Habitat for Humanity, established in 1991, is the non-profit Habitat organization that works in Western Connecticut to strengthen families and communities through affordable homeownership opportunities. We work in partnership with corporations, community groups, and individuals to build and/or renovate affordable homes in our 16-town service area. We provide a hand up…not a hand out to families looking to put down roots in their own home.
We are launching our 25th anniversary campaign at an event on Friday, September 23rd, and are excited to invite you to join us to build that vision so we can continue to provide services in the towns we serve.
We know that when we invest in our neighbor's journey to own an affordable home, we are also investing in strengthening the quality of life where we both live. That's because quality affordable housing impacts our neighborhoods, our tax base, as well as the ability of children to stay in school! A stable home is the catalyst for intergenerational and sustainable change in our community.
Housatonic Habitat's mission focuses on making a meaningful difference in the lives of qualified working families by promoting financial stability and self-sufficiency through ownership of affordable housing.
